Started singing in South Africa at age 4 after winning a singing contest.
Appeared in "The King and I" at age 9 at the Drury Lane Theatre in London
Studied Opera with the same teacher as Julie Andrews, "Madame Stiles Allen"
At age 15 was signed for management to Eric Easton (Rolling Stones Manager)
At 16 was signed to a recording contract with Pye Records in England.
Had several charting records including "Up on the Roof" and "Everyday I Have to Cry Some"
Toured or opened for "The Beatles", "Rolling Stones", Animals "Yardbirds and "Searchers"
1970 came to the U.S after joining the Spanish group "The Zaras" as their lead singer.
Performed at the "Royal Box" in NY wiith Zaras and susequently signed to a long term deal with Americana and Sahara hotels.
Left The Zaras in 1975 to lead her own group, performing throughout the US and the Caribbean.
In 1976 signed to management to her future husband David Connelly.
In 1985 she signed with Estate/Sony records owned by Grammy winning producer Paul Leka
During her tenure at Estate she recorded many records including a disco version of "Heart and Soul" as well as a dance remake of the classic "Light my Fire" by "The Doors"
Signed with Costa Cruises in 1993 to perform with her own review throughout Europe and the Caribbean for one year.
Retired from singing in 1995 and started a new career as an agent with the "Mohegan Sun Casino" as her main client
In 2002 became a celebrity co-ordinator for CIC/Pollstar Awards show.
In 2011 Julie continues in business with her husband as agents and producers with their new company "English Wolf Music" supplying entertainment to Casinos and Venues throughout the world.
DAVID E. CONNELLY aka "WOLF"
Started his career in the music business at age 20 by managing several local bands in CT.
At 27 years old he became assistant road manager for the "Carpenters" traveling throughout the world attending to the daily needs of Karen and Richard Carpenter.
In 1975 acted as road Manager for Isaac Hayes for tours throughout the US and Australia.
In1976 signed Julie Grant to personal management and co-produced her stage show as well as several demos for submission to record companies
Throughout this time he continued to increase his stable of Artists including "Tangee Renee","Ivory","Jaimie Hosmer" and "Passion".
1985 signed Julie to a multi-year recording contract with Grammy winning producer Paul Leka's label Estate/Sony records.
Produced along with Paul Leka many records for Julie including the disco version of "Heart and Soul" and a remake dance version of The Doors,"Light My Fire".
1995 started David Connelly Productions Inc. with Julie as a booking/management company and signed the Hip hop group "Fat Bag" subsequently winning "the Boston Music Awards" two times as the Best Hip Hop Act.
1998 Signed Fat Bag to a five album recording contract and publishing deal to Stepsun/Interscope records.
Since 1995 David and Julie have been booking many venues throughout the USA as well as managing the careers of several Artists.
In 2011 David continues as a partner with Julie booking acts and producing shows throughout the world with their newest company "English Wolf Music".
